Extra Chapter 36: Unfettered Journey Part 7
Sexual content warning.
Facing her indignant accusation, Meng Changge suddenly blurted out, seemingly out of nowhere, “Do you know what we’re doing right now?”
“What else could it be?” Lan Yuan retorted, annoyed. “Isn’t it just sex…”
“It’s called ‘indulging in debauchery in broad daylight.'”
The mermaid took a deep breath, slapped a hand over Meng Changge’s face, and said through gritted teeth, “Stop showing off your literary skills!”
Meng Changge chuckled. “You still have such a temper at a time like this.”
She gripped Lan Yuan’s waist and effortlessly lifted her onto her lap. Lan Yuan nervously pursed her lips, but when she looked down and saw Meng Changge’s teary eyes, she felt a sense of satisfaction at being in this dominant position.
“It doesn’t seem as bad as last night,” she said.
With that, she stroked the red corners of Meng Changge’s eyes, musing, “If your admiring junior sisters saw you like this, they would be shocked. Hmm… even when I first met you, I thought you were ruthless and wanted to tear you apart if I got the chance.”
“And then?”
“Then we met again outside Shiling City,” Lan Yuan said. “By then, decades had passed since our first encounter, but I still remembered you. Do you know why?”
Meng Changge blinked, feeling guilty. “Because I… stabbed you?”
“Exactly.” Lan Yuan nodded with a smile. “Before you, no one had ever hurt me like that.”
Meng Changge forced a laugh and kissed Lan Yuan’s fingertips apologetically. “I was wrong. Can you consider my years of unrequited love as my punishment?”
Lan Yuan snorted. “Then who can you blame but yourself? Who told you to keep it to yourself?”
“Because I was scared,” Meng Changge admitted, wrapping her arms around her waist, leaving gentle kisses on her neck as she caressed her body. “After all, would the esteemed Sea Empress fall in love with a cultivator from the immortal sects? And would your subjects accept you taking a human as your partner, knowing you’d never have an heir?”
Lan Yuan tensed at the sensitive topic.
“As for heirs, we can just adopt a girl from a branch family… ah, don’t… don’t touch there…”
Meng Changge seemed to quickly discover the sensitive spots on Lan Yuan’s body. Her fingers brushed over the area from her lower back to her tailbone, causing the mermaid to tremble uncontrollably. Her long legs curled up pitifully, tightly gripping Meng Changge’s waist.
“I told you, don’t… mmph!”
A few cool, silvery scales began to emerge from Lan Yuan’s smooth skin. When Meng Changge’s fingers brushed over them again, a thin, delicate tentacle tentatively peeked out from beneath the scales and wrapped around her fingertip.
Meng Changge grasped it.
Lan Yuan gasped, her body going limp as she bit down on Meng Changge’s shoulder. Almost instantly, she tasted the faint metallic tang of blood. She quickly released her bite and licked the wound carefully.
“Lan Yuan…”
Meng Changge couldn’t help but tighten her grip on the tentacle, feeling tears welling up again. She cupped Lan Yuan’s face and kissed her deeply, tasting her own blood on the mermaid’s lips. As their saliva mingled, Lan Yuan, overwhelmed, turned her head away and mumbled, “Mm… let go.”
“You’re the one who took the initiative to wrap around me.”
Meng Changge kneaded the soft, slippery tentacle, feeling it was almost like a cat’s tail. With that thought, she gripped the tentacle and guided it downward, slipping it into the damp hair between Lan Yuan’s legs.
“You…” Lan Yuan shuddered, her eyes red. “You’re being presumptuous!”
Meng Changge laughed, her fingers parting Lan Yuan’s folds and gently rubbing the hidden clitoris within. “Your Majesty, I’m not one of your subjects. Of course, I can be presumptuous.”
“Mm…”
Lan Yuan closed her eyes, a few small pearls falling from the corners. Meanwhile, the woman pressed against her was also crying, her tears dripping onto Lan Yuan’s chest, which only made Lan Yuan more annoyed. “Why are you crying?”
“I don’t want to,” Meng Changge said softly, “But Your Majesty, I can’t control it.”
“Don’t call me Your Majes—mmph…”
As Meng Changge’s fingers entered her, Lan Yuan’s body clenched tightly, making it difficult to move. Meng Changge patiently caressed Lan Yuan’s body, burying her head and sucking and teasing her red nipples. Lan Yuan let out a few low moans, her body gradually relaxing as her legs grew wetter. Meng Changge began to move her fingers shallowly inside, the cool tentacle in her palm brushing against Lan Yuan’s slick folds, coated with her own arousal.
The quiet tent was soon filled with the sound of wet, squelching noises. Lan Yuan’s face burned with embarrassment, and she couldn’t help but snap, “What are you waiting for?”
Meng Changge paused. “I was worried you might feel uncomfortable.”
“What a joke. I’m not that delicate,” Lan Yuan said, lifting her hips to take Meng Changge’s fingers deeper. “I… um, isn’t it just sex? Let me see if it’s really as good as the books say…”
Meng Changge was curious. “Books? What books?”
“It’s just… storybooks that Lan Wu left in the sea…” Lan Yuan gasped, finally taking all of Meng Changge’s fingers. She frowned, considering the sensation. “It seems… just okay.”
Meng Changge didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, only feeling her fingers tightly wrapped in the wet flesh. She tentatively turned it in a circle, and Lan Yuan stiffened, her eyelashes fluttering nervously. “Um… don’t move.”
“Sorry,” Meng Changge affectionately rubbed her face, her voice gentle. “You’re asking for too much. I can’t listen to all of them.”
With that, she pulled her fingers out, only to thrust them back in with a wet squelch.
“You, you bastard…”
Ignoring Lan Yuan’s weak struggles, Meng Changge began to thrust her fingers in and out. Lan Yuan narrowed her reddened eyes, panting as she wrapped her arms around the woman’s neck, wanting to bite her again. Meng Changge saw her intention and quickly put two fingers between her lips, stirring up wet saliva. Her soft lips also pressed soft kisses to Lan Yuan’s neck.
“Um… um…”
Lan Yuan was forced to keep her mouth open, her teeth grazing Meng Changge’s fingers but unable to bite down. Instead, she was reduced to a blushing, moaning mess.
The wet sounds grew louder, and Lan Yuan’s soft whimpers became more frequent. Just as her consciousness began to drift, she felt a sharp pain in her neck. Her eyes flew open, and she glared at Meng Changge, “Rele-“
But her protest was cut off as Meng Changge’s fingers sped up inside her. Lan Yuan’s body went limp, and the remaining word turned into a soft moan. She couldn’t help but lift her hips to meet Meng Changge’s thrusts, her arousal dripping down her thighs. But she couldn’t quite reach that peak of pleasure. “Harder… a little harder…”
Meng Changge glanced at her and obediently increased the force of her thrusts. Lan Yuan’s legs spread wide, her sparse silver hair clinging to her skin. Her swollen entrance was stretched wide, dripping with arousal, and her folds glistened with wetness.
“Mm, Meng… Meng Changge…”
Lan Yuan’s walls suddenly clenched tightly around Meng Changge’s fingers. Meng Changge kissed her lower lip, her other hand sliding down to rub Lan Yuan’s swollen clit. Lan Yuan stiffened, her eyes squeezing shut as she let out a soft whimper. Her hips arched, as if trying to press closer to Meng Changge.
“Ah, ha ah…”
After a long, drawn-out moan, Meng Changge slowly pulled her fingers out, now coated in Lan Yuan’s slickness. She gently rubbed Lan Yuan’s thighs, watching as more arousal spilled from her entrance. Lan Yuan’s eyes remained closed, her eyelashes trembling, her silver hair sticking to her sweaty cheeks. She looked nothing like the proud, aloof Sea Empress.
Meng Changge’s heart softened, and she kissed Lan Yuan’s cheek lovingly. “Did it feel good?”
Lan Yuan sniffled, then after a moment of silence, turned her face away and muttered, “Just okay.”
Meng Changge chuckled, stroking the now-limp tentacle. “In that case, I’ll just have to try harder.”

Thousands of miles away, in the Sea Palace.
Early in the morning, Feng Yi, under the scrutiny of the elders, timidly knocked on the door of the palace. “Your Majesty.”
Soon, a faint voice came from inside. “What is it?”
Feng Yi breathed a sigh of relief and said respectfully, “Your Majesty, the elders request an audience.”
“What’s the matter? Can’t it wait until after the meeting with the humans today?”
“If we wait until then, you will probably avoid us again.” The Grand Elder said with a straight face, “We will accompany you on the way to meet the humans later, so we can discuss this matter.”
There was no response from inside for a long time. Just as the elders were about to speak again, the door creaked open, and a woman wearing a silver crown slowly came out, lowering her eyes and coldly looking at the figures below the steps. “Since the elders are in such a hurry, let’s talk.”
The weather in the South Sea was as good as usual. Even before reaching the surface, the shimmering light could be seen faintly. The Sea Empress’ personal guards, dressed in silver armor, were neatly arranged in two rows, quietly following behind the Sea Empress and the elders.
“Leave a Pearl?” Suddenly, a surprised voice came from the sea. The woman frowned and repeated, “What did the elders say? Leave a Pearl?”
“Haven’t we discussed this before?” the Grand Elder frowned, looking at her suspiciously. “Is there a problem?”
“…No problem.” She turned her head, her expression growing colder.
A familiar voice suddenly echoed in her mind. “What’s wrong?”
Lan Wu paused, realizing that Ji Lingyue, far away on land, had sensed her mood through their spiritual connection. She felt even more depressed. “Sister didn’t tell me about this.”
“So what? She doesn’t have to tell you everything.”
“But leaving an Pearl is a big deal. Sister probably doesn’t like it either.” She sighed silently. “If she’s worried about this but didn’t tell me, does that mean I’m not a good enough sister for her to confide in?”
Ji Lingyue said, “Don’t overthink it. Maybe she just didn’t have the chance to tell you.”
Lan Wu pursed her lips, unsure whether she was more upset about the elders pressuring Lan Yuan to leave a Pearl or the fact that Lan Yuan hadn’t told her about it.
As she wallowed in her sadness, the Grand Elder, oblivious to her mood, asked, “So, Your Majesty, have you made a decision about this matter?”
Lan Wu was silent for a moment before saying, “I won’t leave a Pearl.”
The Grand Elder was stunned. “What did you say?”
“I said, I won’t consider leaving a Pearl.”
“How can you not consider it?” The Elder’s expression turned stern. “Your Majesty, you’ve been on the throne for over twenty years, yet you have neither a partner nor an heir. The sea clans may not say it openly, but they are all concerned about this. The Eldest Princess can no longer have children, so the only hope lies with you. If you refuse, the bloodline that has been passed down since our ancestor, Lan Yin, will end with you!”
“Are you using these words to force…” Lan Wu paused. “…to force me?”
“How is this forcing you?”
She pursed her lips, saying resolutely, “I said I won’t leave a Pearl, and that’s final.”
“Your Majesty!”
Lan Wu stopped, annoyed. “I don’t care about bloodlines. Even if I were to leave a Pearl, it would only be because I truly wanted to. But if I have even the slightest reluctance, don’t think you can force me with lofty excuses.”
The Grand Elder was silent for a moment, frowning at her. “Your Majesty, do you have someone you like?”
“Regardless of whether I have someone I like or not, it’s the same.” Lan Wu said firmly, “I am the ruler of the Four Seas. I will do as I please.”
“Ah…”

A gentle breeze entered the tent, occasionally revealing the lush green grass outside.
Inside, the room remained dim, the two naked bodies pressed tightly together. Meng Changge hugged Lan Yuan from behind, her knees parting her wet thighs, and her hands slid down into the damp valley.
“Wa-wait…”
When her fingertips touched the swollen opening, Lan Yuan trembled violently, panting as if she couldn’t bear it. She struggled to grab Meng Changge’s wrist, her hips arching as if unsure whether to escape or press closer.
But Meng Changge slowly pressed her down, sliding her long fingers inside. Lan Yuan’s legs trembled, her mouth protesting even as her tight walls eagerly sucked on the intruding digits. Meng Changge couldn’t help but smile, kissing Lan Yuan’s shoulder and burying her nose in the mermaid’s sweaty silver hair, nuzzling gently.
“Mm… slower…”
Lost in pleasure, Lan Yuan was like a ripe fruit, her body dripping with arousal at the slightest touch. Meng Changge twisted her fingers, rubbing and pressing against Lan Yuan’s inner walls, causing the mermaid to whimper and tremble. “You… just wait…”
“Of course,” Meng Changge said, her lips brushing Lan Yuan’s as she thrust her fingers faster, drawing wet, squelching sounds from the mermaid’s body. “I can’t wait.”
