After understanding what Lan Wu meant, Ji Lingyue was shocked. “You want to save her?”
Lan Wu nodded.
“You’re asking for death.”
“Your words are so harsh.”
“Because I’m telling the truth.” Ji Lingyue said patiently as she put on her clothes. “First, they have guns loaded with silver bullets. Second, there are many of them, and you’re just one vampire.”
“But I have you.”
Ji Lingyue laughed coldly. “I appreciate you thinking so highly of me, but why should I help you save a vampire? Even if I wanted to help you, there’s only one of me and one of you. We can’t beat them all.”
Lan Wu frowned. “I don’t care. You have to help me, or I’ll drink–“
Ji Lingyue cut her off. “Go ahead. Drink.”
Lan Wu froze, staring at her.
Ji Lingyue tilted her head, her dark eyes filled with mockery, as if she could see through Lan Wu’s tough exterior to the fear and hesitation beneath. “Go on. Drink.”
“You think I won’t?”
“I never said that,” Ji Lingyue said, leaning closer and lifting her hair to expose her pale neck. “Here.”
Lan Wu was frightened by her strange behavior, stuttering, “Y-you think I’ll just drink because you told me to? That’s so… humiliating!”
Ji Lingyue was silent for a moment, turning to scrutinize her. “Are you trying to find an excuse for yourself?”
“No!” Thanks to her vampire’s good eyesight, she could still clearly see the girl’s amused eyes and a happy smile spread across her face even in the dim light.
“What are you smiling about?”
“Nothing,” Ji Lingyue said, shaking her head and leaning even closer, almost pinning Lan Wu to the corner. “I’m just wondering how a vampire like you ever managed to intimidate me before.”
Lan Wu didn’t dare to breathe, putting on a brave face. “You should quit while you’re ahead. Don’t get too cocky, or else…”
“Or else what? You’re going to bite me to death?”
“…” Lan Wu’s face turned red as she struggled to come up with a threat. “Or else I’ll… I’ll go save my kind by myself!”
Ji Lingyue was speechless.
As Lan Wu started crawling out of the coffin, Ji Lingyue frowned, annoyed. “Why do you want to save her so much? As far as I know, the relationships between you vampires aren’t that good, right?”
Lan Wu, halfway out of the coffin, muttered. “None of your business.”
Ji Lingyue snapped, “Fine, then let me go. We’ll go our separate ways, and your kind can take you home.”
“Nice try,” Lan Wu huffed. “You’re my personal blood slave. You’re not going anywhere.”
“…”
How could she say something like that? What a despicable vampire!
Ji Lingyue gritted her teeth, a sudden surge of anger making her grab Lan Wu’s pale leg and bite down hard.
A few seconds of silence passed before a terrified scream echoed through the coffin shop. Lan Wu tumbled to the ground, and before she could get up, Ji Lingyue pounced on her, biting the back of her neck.
“!”
In her nearly twenty years as a vampire, Lan Wu had always been the one doing the biting. This was the first time someone had bitten her.
“Ji Lingyue!”
She reached back, grabbed the girl’s clothes, and threw her in front of her. Ji Lingyue coughed, breathing rapidly, a provocative smile on her slightly flushed face. “Go ahead. Bite me. I’m your personal blood slave, after all.”
Lan Wu’s face turned red with anger, her dark red eyes narrowing into slits. “I won’t bite you to death.”
Ji Lingyue chuckled. Even when faced with a vampire on the verge of losing control, her body relaxed.
“But I have other ways to deal with you.”
She blinked. Before she could react, the new clothes she had just put on were torn to shreds. Lan Wu lowered her head, her cold lips pressing against her neck, her fingertips traveling over the remaining marks and bruises, slipping between her legs.
“Mmm…”
Ji Lingyue arched her back, tears welling up in the corners of her eyes. “W-wait…”
After last night’s unrestrained sex, Lan Wu only needed to rub the swollen entrance to draw out slick wetness. Ji Lingyue’s body trembled, her hips grinding against Lan Wu’s hand as lewd sounds filled the air.
“Look at you,” Lan Wu stroked her face, wiping away the tears from the corner of her eye. She pressed her head down, forcing her to look down. “Just a little bit inside, and you’re already so eager.”
Sure enough, the red entrance clung tightly to Lan Wu’s fingers, which glistened in the sunlight.
Ji Lingyue’s lashes fluttered as she whimpered, “You’re despicable…”
In broad daylight, in a dusty, abandoned shop, she was being shamelessly played with by a vampire.
“You made me angry first.”
With that, Lan Wu pushed her finger all the way in. Ji Lingyue’s body jerked, a pitiful whimper escaping her throat as tears streamed down her face. “It’s dangerous to go save her… I was just… worried about you…”
“You bit me.”
“You… you called me a blood slave first…”
Lan Wu paused, a little confused. “But to me, you are…”
“I’m not!” Ji Lingyue suddenly raised her voice, pulling Lan Wu’s head down and biting her lips. “I’m not your food, Lan Wu. I’m… I’m a person…”
But humans are my food.
Lan Wu blinked, not understanding the difference. But Ji Lingyue’s lips were soft and warm, and once they were pressed together, Lan Wu couldn’t help but get distracted, quickly forgetting the unimportant question as her tongue delved into Ji Lingyue’s mouth, drawing out wet gasps.
“Mmm… ah…”
Ji Lingyue frowned, unable to help but hug Lan Wu’s back, wrapping her legs around her waist. The fingers inside her thrust relentlessly, occasionally brushing against her sensitive clit. Ji Lingyue moaned, her body trembling with each movement. After being pushed over the edge once, Lan Wu showed no signs of stopping, continuing to thrust into her as more slick wetness spilled out.
“Ah…” Ji Lingyue whimpered, her lips parting as she pleaded, “Lan Wu… slower… it hurts…”
Lan Wu tilted her head. “Where does it hurt?”
“Inside.” Ji Lingyue sobbed, her voice trembling. “It’s still swollen from last night… and you’re still…”
Lan Wu paused, carefully pulling her fingers out. They were stained with a faint trace of blood. She licked her fingers, her tongue darting out to taste the metallic tang. “Sweet.”
Ji Lingyue was speechless.
Her eyes widened in humiliation, tears welling up again.
But Lan Wu, as if discovering something new, lifted Ji Lingyue’s legs onto her shoulders and buried her face between them.
When she climbed up again, it was half an hour later. Ji Lingyue was drenched in sweat, her body limp and boneless on the floor. Lan Wu carefully picked her up, the girl’s marked butt glistening as if they’d been dipped in water.
Ji Lingyue’s strength seemed to have been completely drained. She couldn’t even lift a finger. Lan Wu gathered the torn pieces of clothing and gently wiped Ji Lingyue’s body clean. By the time she was done, Ji Lingyue had finally caught her breath, her voice hoarse as she asked, “Are you still going?”
Lan Wu nodded.
“…” Ji Lingyue closed her eyes, feeling that it would be better to just pass out.
After a moment of silence, Lan Wu hugged her tighter, hesitating before speaking. “Because… the voice of that vampire… it sounded like my sister.”
Ji Lingyue paused, slowly opening her eyes and looking at her.
Lan Wu pursed her lips, saying softly, “So I have to go see. If it really is her, no matter what happens, I have to save her.”
“I thought you didn’t get along.”
“Who said that?” Lan Wu’s eyes widened, her voice rising in protest. “Don’t believe what the tabloids say. She just didn’t like me hanging out with humans all the time, so we fought a lot. But that’s what sisters are like, right? Always arguing, but never really hating each other. If you had a sister, you’d understand.”
Ji Lingyue lowered her eyes. “I don’t have a sister. I have a younger sister.”
“It’s the same,” Lan Wu smiled. “Then you must understand how I feel. If your sister was in danger, you would try to save her, right?”
Ji Lingyue was silent for a moment before nodding. “Yeah.”
“Great, we’re on the same page.” Lan Wu stood up, still holding Ji Lingyue, and began looking for clothes. “Then let’s go save her together.”
“Wait.”
Lan Wu stopped, looking at her blankly. “What’s wrong?”
“Let’s go at night,” Ji Lingyue closed her eyes wearily. “You’re so stupid. Even if we’re going to save her, we have to find a good time.”
