Chapter 100: Forcing You?
Despite her healing, Qu Weiyin still felt somewhat fatigued from the exertion. She sighed, swinging her pristine legs off the bed and placing her bare feet on the floor.
Qu Weiyin caressed Luo Jinxiao’s hand, then slid it up to her ear, gathering the stray strands of hair and tucking them behind her head. She grabbed the blanket, which had long been kicked to some unknown corner, and covered Luo Jinxiao’s bare shoulders.
Only then did she rise, her gossamer-like outer robe falling loosely, draping around her ankles and trailing lazily behind her. She poured a cup of tea for Luo Jinxiao and placed it beside the bed.
As she turned back, a hand suddenly grasped her wrist, then tugged at her clothes. Caught off guard, Qu Weiyin fell onto the bed.
The long, warm body of the other woman pressed against her, arms tightly encircling her waist.
Luo Jinxiao was still drowsy, a few unruly strands of hair sticking up on her head. She pursed her pink lips, nuzzling her chin against Qu Weiyin’s chest.
Qu Weiyin, tickled by the sensation, let out a soft moan. She tilted Luo Jinxiao’s chin up, feigning annoyance: “Awake?”
Luo Jinxiao nodded, her eyes unable to resist glancing downward.
Qu Weiyin couldn’t help but laugh, restraining her movements: “What are you doing?”
A burning blush crept onto Luo Jinxiao’s face. She suddenly recalled Qu Weiyin from the previous night, blooming with breathtaking beauty, both restrained and wild.
The step-by-step guidance, blushing with embarrassment; the struggle at the peak of pleasure; the tears at the corners of her eyes and the constant low cries from her mouth – all of it made Luo Jinxiao love her to distraction.
Seeing the deepening blush on Luo Jinxiao’s face, Qu Weiyin knew she wasn’t thinking about anything decent. She, too, couldn’t help but feel shy, instinctively pulling her robe tighter.
“Get up, the room is too messy. I’ll tidy up,” Qu Weiyin murmured, averting her gaze.
Luo Jinxiao shook her head, stretching her neck to brush against Qu Weiyin’s cheek, then planting a kiss on the mark on her forehead. Qu Weiyin couldn’t help but cry out, her body trembling slightly.
“Luo Jinxiao, haven’t you had enough?” she said, both angry and helpless, thinking to herself that exposing her weak point like this was indeed not a good idea.
Luo Jinxiao’s lips slowly trailed down, capturing Qu Weiyin’s moist lips in another kiss, gently silencing any further words.
Qu Weiyin’s hands were pinned, her breathing erratic. She closed her eyes and softened, helpless against Luo Jinxiao’s wandering hands.
Suddenly, the flapping of wings and the whooshing of wind could be heard from outside the window, followed by a scream. Startled, Luo Jinxiao loosened her grip and nearly tumbled off the bed.
Qu Weiyin reacted swiftly. She instantly rose, layers of red light flashing from head to toe, fully dressed in an instant. Her crimson red dress flowed down from her waist, with slits on each sleeve, revealing glimpses of her snow-white arms as they fluttered.
She stood by the bed, watching as a woman, covered in dust, rolled onto the floor.
Then, a miniature Qiongqi flapped its wings and flew through the window, transforming into a human form. The young girl shook off the dirt from her body and bounced onto the bed, attempting to snuggle up to Luo Jinxiao.
Luo Jinxiao was startled and quickly dressed herself.
“You’re back?” Qu Weiyin asked, fanning away the swirling dust and coughing a few times.
Qiongqi nodded, habitually trying to sniff Luo Jinxiao’s face, but was unceremoniously lifted by the collar by an irritated Qu Weiyin.
Even from a distance, Luo Jinxiao could feel the anger emanating from Qu Weiyin.
She awkwardly scratched her head, pretending to be nonchalant as she got out of bed and walked over to Tang Lan’er, who was still sprawled on the floor, unable to get up. She half-squatted beside her.
Tang Lan’er lifted her head, recognizing Luo Jinxiao’s face. Suddenly, she threw her head back and burst into tears, large teardrops mixing with the dust, forming muddy balls as they fell to the ground.
“Luo Jinxiao, are you here to save me?” she sobbed, asking between hiccups.
“Shut up,” Qu Weiyin gritted her teeth. Hearing her voice, Tang Lan’er immediately choked back her tears, covering her mouth pitifully.
Luo Jinxiao rubbed her chin.
The current scene was inexplicably awkward, leaving her momentarily speechless.
Tang Lan’er looked around with tear-blurred eyes. Seeing Qu Weiyin, she was so frightened her legs went weak. She dragged herself behind Luo Jinxiao for shelter, asking in a small voice, “She didn’t tie you up and bring you here, did she?”
“With the room decorated like this, could it be that Qu Weiyin forced you to marry her?”
As Tang Lan’er spoke, her thoughts spiraled downwards, her voice cracking with despair: “She wouldn’t force you to…”
Seeing Qu Weiyin’s face turning red with anger, Luo Jinxiao quickly covered Tang Lan’er’s mouth, preventing her from being torn apart by an enraged Qu Weiyin.
“Shh, get up, let me explain,” Luo Jinxiao whispered, then stood up and tried to help her up by supporting her elbow.
However, she suddenly felt a chill down her back. Turning her head, she saw Qu Weiyin’s pale red eyes staring intently at her, her expression unreadable.
Luo Jinxiao instinctively let go. Before Tang Lan’er could scream, she fell heavily to the floor once more.
Half an hour later, the Cold Moon Palace was finally restored to its original state, save for the ‘double happiness’ characters still on the wall, and the lingering fragrance of flowers in the air.
Luo Jinxiao, parched from explaining, took the teacup offered by Qu Weiyin and sipped the fragrant tea.
“So, she hasn’t really turned into a demon?” Tang Lan’er asked, sitting obediently, glancing sideways at Qu Weiyin before quickly averting her gaze.
“Then why did you keep me locked up for so long? I was scared to death. How petty,” she muttered under her breath.
“So, are you two married now?” she asked cautiously, a hint of disappointment in her eyes.
“Yes,” Qu Weiyin replied coldly, finally breaking her silence.
At the same time, Qiongqi, sitting cross-legged nearby, suddenly let out an incredibly long burp. A spray of red sand erupted, once again messing up the tidy room.
After a moment of silence, Qu Weiyin frowned, pulled Qiongqi closer, and looked into her mouth. “What did she eat?” she asked.
“I encountered a demonic beast that spewed sand. Thankfully, Qiongqi arrived in time,” Tang Lan’er said, drawing in a sharp breath. The terrifying scene was still vivid in her mind.
Qu Weiyin glanced at her and scoffed. “A Dust Devourer, a creature said to be nurtured by demonic energy within dust storms.”
“Of all things to eat, you had to eat that,” Qu Weiyin said, shaking her head slightly. She placed her soft, white hand on the young girl’s abdomen, a red glow emanating from her palm as she gently rubbed.
Qiongqi smacked her lips contentedly, finally deigning to lick Qu Weiyin’s face.
Seeing this scene, Luo Jinxiao felt a surge of warmth and relief.
“However, the violent wind last night was rather strange. I’ve spent many years in the demon realm, and while the weather can be unpredictable, such a strong wind is truly abnormal,” Qu Weiyin suddenly remarked.
Luo Jinxiao’s heart skipped a beat. She remembered what Luo Ning had mentioned about the impending heavenly tribulation.
She hoped she was just overthinking things.
A knock came from the door, three polite raps. Qu Weiyin stopped what she was doing, got up, and opened the door.
The man with half a face stood there. He didn’t look inside the room, but instead lowered his head and whispered something into Qu Weiyin’s ear.
A moment later, Qu Weiyin closed the door and returned, striding over to Luo Jinxiao. Leaning down, she whispered in her ear, her breath carrying a faint fragrance: “Jinxiao, I need your help with something.”
“What is it?” Luo Jinxiao’s eyes lit up with excitement.
She was currently burdened with unused energy and didn’t dare to act rashly for fear of causing unrest in the demon realm. Being able to help Qu Weiyin was a great opportunity.
If there was a reward, that would be even better.
Lost in thought, Luo Jinxiao voiced her desire for a reward.
Qu Weiyin was taken aback for a moment, then a smile played on her lips. “What do you want?” she asked softly.
“I want you to leave the demon realm with me. Let’s go somewhere else. I’ll take you back to the Celestial Realm, how about that?” Luo Jinxiao asked cautiously.
Although it was now in ruins, it was a rare place of undisturbed tranquility. Luo Jinxiao’s imagination began to run wild.
“Alright,” Qu Weiyin replied, suppressing a smile. She nodded seriously, not wanting to brush off Luo Jinxiao’s request.
“As long as I’m with you, anywhere is fine.”
They gazed at each other, both seeing deep love in the other’s eyes.
Tang Lan’er blushed and turned away, covering her eyes with her hands. Qiongqi opened her mouth, and a loud burp echoed through the room, followed by a fresh wave of sand.
Qu Weiyin abruptly straightened up, clearing her throat uncomfortably. She pulled Luo Jinxiao up and turned to instruct Qiongqi to keep a close eye on Tang Lan’er and not let her wander off.
Qiongqi covered her mouth, stifling the impending eruption of sand, and nodded vigorously.
Luo Jinxiao followed Qu Weiyin out the door, striding through the winding corridors. Before leaving, Qu Weiyin retrieved the dust-covered Crescent Star Sword and grasped it in her hand.
After waking up and realizing she had killed so many members of the Shengsi Sect, she had been reluctant to face the blood-stained Crescent Star Sword, leaving it in its scabbard.
Now, it could finally be put to use again.
“For three years, I’ve cultivated some trusted allies in the demon realm, secretly monitoring Yu Gui and his movements. He believes I’ve truly turned into a demon and will join him in the fight against the Immortal Realm. So, he listened to me and retrieved the scattered halves of the Netherworld Diagram.”
“I’ve endured for three years. He thinks he can control me, Qu Weiyin? He’s dreaming.”
“Now the time has come. Those things that plague the mortal realm should be destroyed.”
Qu Weiyin spoke softly, but a murderous aura involuntarily emanated from her. She held the Crescent Star Sword, her red robes billowing without a breeze. Even in the dark corridor, she resembled a formidable celestial deity.
Luo Jinxiao’s gaze remained fixed on her, unable to tear away.
She loved seeing Qu Weiyin like this, unrestrained and proud between heaven and earth.
The Demon Palace was sparsely populated. Qu Weiyin concealed her presence, attracting no attention as they ascended the stairs, gradually reaching the top.
The view outside became increasingly vast and boundless. Despite being a barren desert of red sand, it possessed a breathtaking beauty.
“Is the Netherworld Diagram here?” Luo Jinxiao asked.
“Yes.”
“Without the Netherworld Diagram, Yu Gui wouldn’t possess the power he currently wields. The demon realm under his control wouldn’t be able to dominate and terrorize the other six realms.”
“Everything should be here,” Qu Weiyin said, gently taking Luo Jinxiao’s hand. “You stay guard outside, I’ll go in.”
Luo Jinxiao instinctively wanted to refuse, but Qu Weiyin interrupted her. “You don’t know where it is. Guard the entrance for me, so we’re not attacked from both sides.”
At the end of the corridor stood a dark and imposing hall. The archway was adorned with terrifying and eerie depictions of mythical creatures. The guards stationed at the entrance tried to intercept them, but Qu Weiyin flicked her sleeve, sending them flying and disappearing without a sound.
At the same time, black smoke suddenly erupted from the quiet surroundings, transforming into a dense swarm of demons surging towards them. Howls like those of vengeful ghosts rang in their ears.
Qu Weiyin’s fiery figure floated into the darkness. Luo Jinxiao turned back, and Wujue suddenly appeared. A bone-chilling frost descended from the sky, freezing all the demons into ice blocks that then vaporized into wisps of white steam.
With a single, graceful sweep of her hand, she effortlessly eradicated all the creatures that attacked her.
At the same time, a deafening roar erupted from within the hall, followed by a burst of flames. It was as if something had violently exploded, and a scorching wave of heat, carrying the stench of blood and flesh, surged out from the archway.
Thank you for the chapter!
